Products for the perfect pout

As a frequent sufferer of dry lips I have had the pleasure (not sure thats a word I would use in every case) of trying out lots of lip balms, the above 4 are my HG products.

LUSH MINT JULIPS LIP SCRUB - Although this is not technically a lip balm it is a must have, for me. I use this every other night to slough off any dead skin, creating a lovely smooth base for lip balm. This scrub contains a mixture sugar to exfoliate and oils  - jojoba, Tagetes and Peppermint to be precise - to moisturise. and although ip scrubs can easily be made at home but I just cannot resist the vanilla mint scent of this.
Priced at £5.25 from LUSH stores

FRESH SUGAR LIP TREATMENT -  This has become a bit of a cult beauty product and looking over the ingredients I can see why, it contains fatty acids which help plump the lips, antioxidants and vitamins A, C and E, it also contains SPF 15. Wowza.
For me this is the perfect daytime lip balm, it lasts for hours and feels very luxurious on the lips, it does a great job of making them feel protected without feeling heavy or sticky.
Also comes in many different shades/flavours. Clear and Rose pictured above.
Only available from the Fresh store in London

NUXE REVE DE MILS LIP BALM - Heres a small (big) bit of background information this product - Having heard so many praises about this product from so many of my favourite bloggers I had lusted after this for so long, but hadn't purchased this as along with raves I had also heard some rants, but I finally bought this as a birthday present to myself. At the time I was staying away in London for the weekend and had unbelievably dry lips, being bimbo brained me I had forgotten to pack any lipbalm (seriously stupid for a girl that owns so many). I don't think I have ever opened a lip balm as quickly as I did this, I don't even think I had given my money over the cashier before popping it on my sore, chapped lips and its worked straight away, it was instant relief, and one of those few products I would say actually lives up to its claims.

Unlike many other lip products this is matte, meaning its very subtle and might be a good option for someone who likes very minimal makeup but I personally find this a bit too thick for day moisturising. Jammed packed with amazing ingredients like honey, plant oils, shea butter and grapefruit there really is nothing as good as this on the market.
Available for £9.50 from M & S
